San is the most common suffix attached to an individual's name and can be used to refer to work associates and superiors. It is similar to Mr. or Ms. in English. Sama however is a more respectful suffix that can be used for company heads and officers. Chan and Kun are suffixes that need to be avoided at work because these are reserved for informally addressing people you find endearing or those who are close to you.
It is widely accepted that the process of education is lifelong.
